What a rich topic. Well, maybe only in your hands...<br /><br />Oh, and you don't want to know how long it took me to read the word "molest" correctly in your post. Since it was in a sentence with "chipmunk," my brain read it as "mole" and then "-est." Like, somehow something that is the most like the animal that is a mole becomes the "molest."<br /><br />Lawsy. I was mortified. My Chief was my baby and my best friend. Seriously, I loved that dog so much! Anyway, once Tucker was born? I totally and completely loved Chief less. The way you said "not less than before, just less than my son..." that. Exactly that. Our girl is 11 years old, so I'm hoping that she is around long enough to see Pork Chop turn into a little boy who will play with her or just pet her without the threat that he will suddenly go for an eye. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10044621395403018977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5695872572402143773.post-9370008174190891982015-04-16T08:33:36.545-04:002015-04-16T08:33:36.545-04:00Thanks, Beth! You obviously appreciate her gentle personality and are in touch with her needs, even if you can't always deliver. I never had a dog until my only child was about 7 years old so I never had to divide my attention (as if that's a thing with toddlers) between her and Duke. We now have two dogs and a 10 year old. It's wonderful when your kids get older and love the family dogs as much as you do. Sarah will get to experience that one day.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03513853715376944456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5695872572402143773.post-36488534896610689082015-04-15T10:50:11.362-04:002015-04-15T10:50:11.362-04:00love this! love this!
